“ After trying to find a decent Mexican style restaurant on this side of town we finally came across this place on our lists. After the flavor disaster that was O'Kellys, this place was a breath of fresh air. Table side was a decent bowl of chips and two kinds of salsa, hot and mild. Drinks were extremely tasty and well garnished. I got a pollo plate and the wife got the Mayan enchilada. The tomatillo sauce was bright, acidic, but tastey, chicken inside was flavorful and well packed. The cheese sauce was distinct, blending well with the rice. Chicken was well seasoned, a little tough, but it was the only low point of the meal. Tortillas are bought in, HOWEVER they are bought in from a local bakery and feel like an actual tortilla, not a cheap grocery store tortilla. We will be back to try the rest of the menu. Also they sell to go margaritas in bottles which is neat. ”

“ Stopped in about 3:30 on a Sunday afternoon after a Shocker game. There were 7 of us, and we were seated within a few minutes. Julian was our server and was great, very attentive, and made sure we were well taken care of. My wife and I split the chimichangas and fried tacos. They were both very good. It has been years since I last visited this location and was nice to see some the same faces that worked there then still delivering great Mecican food!! ”
